Director of Public Relations and Marketing

The Gospel Mission is posting an opening for a Director of Public Relations and Marketing.  The Director of Public Relations and Marketing is responsible for advancing the visibility, reputation, and mission of The Gospel Mission through strategic communication, brand development, and community engagement. This leader will develop and implement a comprehensive PR and marketing strategy to inspire donor support, increase public awareness, and share transformational stories of lives changed through Christ.   

Education and Experience

* Required: High school diploma and 3–5 years of experience in marketing or public relations.

* Preferred: Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field; and 1–2 years of relevant experience in a nonprofit or ministry context.

Skills / License / Certifications

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

* Strong organizational and project management skills.

* Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Mailchimp.

* Basic understanding of CRM platforms.

* Experience using AI tools for content development.

* Social media content creation and engagement.

* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
